Soft Launch Mishaps
Well, THAT was embarrassing! But like the saying goes, "You have to crack a few eggs to make breakfast."
Let's start with an apology....sorry if you received a TON of emails from me last week! Please accept my sincerest apology for unintended spam. One little tweak in the admin section of our Community automatically sent unintended notifications to your inbox. Every cause has an effect...sometimes it is a ton of email notifications from me.
The back story....
Many of you know, IBGR is a startup. While our our core business growth strategies are not new, combining them in an internet radio station, app and online community are brand new. That means we are learning this new delivery method as we go.
As a startup, we have taken an Agile + Lean (Agilean) approach to building IBGR. In business building, Agile is a process where projects are divided into several stages while involving constant collaboration with stakeholders and continuous improvement and iteration at every stage.
What does that mean and why am I sharing it? Well, YOU are our stakeholders and WE are continuously improving.
The IBGR.Community is in beta testing right now. Another term for that is "soft launch." Part of our mission at IBGR is to build it in front of with...with all the success and all the not-so-success. Why? So you can take our lessons and apply them to your own business growth. Gain from our success and avoid our failiures.
If you want to learn more about soft launches....check out Bill's show from last Friday called GO SOFT BEFORE GOING HARD? . You can also listen to the podcasts by click the the "Building in Front of You" link in Bill's mentoring group called Living the Life...on YOUR Terms. It's worth a listen if you are launching a new product or service or doing a pandemic pivot.
My question to you....how are you using beta testing and soft launch in your own business to "pivot" during the pandemic? We would love to hear from you...post a comment below and let us know!!!
Thanks for being a part of our community...we look forward to growing with you!
