The Real COVID-19 Joke

I rarely go off on people, especially politicians, but this Covid19 insanity in the US has passed the threshold of stupidity. Think about it.

You have a bunch of bureaucrats, government or NGO officials deciding for the rest of us. They might be experts in their chosen fields but HAVE NO SKIN IN THE GAME. When they shutter a small business that means there is no revenue, no money coming in to the owner. It means they are not able to make payroll or pay their bills. With 80% of small businesses struggling to survive, even in good economies, your thoughts shift to “who died and gave them the power to kill the rest of us?” I guarantee the heads of the WHO, the CDC, or the Governor of your state is collecting a whole check delivered on time.

Maybe it is our infatuation with degrees (experts) or our freedom gene has been bred out, I’m not sure. What I am sure of is we are losing our entrepreneurial spirit and with it our business leadership. Perhaps the socialist have won with their microaggressions, participation trophies, and safe spaces. My response - not yet!

​Tonight as I complete this short missive it provides clarity on the why for the radio station. We are entrepreneurs, people who refuse to live by the leave of others because we don’t have any bettors. If you are part of the sheepeople and can live with somebody else signing your payroll check - this might not be the best place for you.
