Introduction
The third element in the story of operating in a VUCA world is building a framework where you can manage the various relationships required to build a complete offer, and ensure all the tools necessary to maximize the performance of individual involved.

Why Is This Important
VUCA! Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous describes the world we operate within. We can complain or use it as an opportunity. These business models are build on a VUCA business environment.

Today we are focusing on #3 Autonomation - the nexus of technology and people. Autonomation = intelligent automation of tasks that are time consuming and time critical, repetitive, prone to error, and requires multiple data entry.

What Do You Need to Know
  • ​Create the system on 'paper' first;
  • Use as a guide for selecting platforms - intranet, crm, accounting, project management, etc.;
  • Start with SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Standardize on a problem solving & decision making model
 
What Do You Need to Do
  1. Identify your resources.
  2. Make a list of tasks that must be accomplished.
  3. Assign the tasks to whom is accountable for its completion.
  4. Create a workflow diagram (value map) to visualize the process.
  5. Test the workflow with pilot group.
  6. Conducting training to start and as needed.
  7. Deploy the workflow enterprise wide.
  8. Move to a platform that fits the process maps and you can afford.
