Introduction

Goals and objectives form a crucial part of any organizational success strategy. Aligning business goals is necessary now more than ever to ensure business continuity and productivity. The on-going pandemic and recession reported in many countries has intensified the need for business results from the operations and functions of the organization.

Business alignment can be defined in different ways ranging from aligning employees’ personal goals with the organizational goals; ensuring that processes and projects is directly connected to business impact measures; to how technology is effectively used to achieve business objectives thus improving profitability and financial performance of the organization.

As a business owner and entrepreneur, it is important to note that aligning business goals involves all stakeholders but should be driven by leadership of the organization for clarity and conciseness.

9. Hire employees that are culture-fit for the organization.
10. Regular review of internal processes and policies.
