Introduction
It is time to put it all together. This is our last chapter we will be covering in the book Psycho Cybernetics. The chapter is about how to get that winning feeling. A winning feeling gets into action and because it is focusing on winning our actions will be positively moving us towards our goal.

Objectives - The WHY 
Success always begins with a goal. Inside each one of us is a creative mechanism that wants to succeed. Once you give it a definite goal to achieve you can depend on your automatic servo-mechanism to find ways to achieve that goal and uplevel it to make the goal even better than you could ever imagine. You supply the goal by thinking of the end result you want then let your automatic goal seeking mechanism guide you to the people and resources needed to achieve it. 

Key Issues - Owner Perspective:

  1. Focus on possibility thinking
  2. Build success patterns and acquire the habit of success
  3. The choice is up to you...do you want to focus on success or failure?

What You Need to Know - The WHAT

  1. Be a possibility thinker. Set your goals by what is possible instead of what is probable. 
  2. Your nervous system can’t tell real failure from imagined failure. When your creative mechanism is set for success you experience that “winning feeling.” We do this by keeping our positive goal in mind. 
  3. When you feel successful and self-confident you will act successfully. Define your end goal or result then picture yourself clearly and vividly accomplishing it. 
  4. Keeping the “winning feeling” cancels our obstacles and impossibilities and adjusts errors and mistakes in order to move closer to success.


What You Need to Do​​ - The HOW

  1. Build success patterns into your gray matter by building patterns and feelings of success at any time and in regular intervals. If we are habitually frustrated by failure, we will begin to acquire habitual feelings of failure. Instead, arrange things so we can succeed in little things and build an atmosphere of success that carries over into larger goals. 
  2. Gradualness is the secret. Little advances daily add up to greater success and accomplishments than trying to do it all at once or in larger proportions. 
  3. Spend time going back into your memory and reliving past successful experiences. In your imagination, revive the entire picture in as much detail as you can. In your mind’s eye “see” the event and all the little details that accompanied your success. Include all the senses like sounds, smells, etc. 
  4. Use positive and constructive worry to your advantage. Mentally begin to play with the idea that you can achieve complete and inevitable success. Don’t force yourself or try to coerce your mind. Just do what you do when you worry, only “worry” about a positive goal and a desirable outcome instead of a negative goal and undesirable outcome. Don’t try to force yourself to have complete faith in your desired success. That is too much, too fast. Instead, use gradualness and think about the desired end result and add possibility thinking. What could happen favorably? Start there. 
  5. Cultivate faith and courage by outlining and defining the most desirable possible outcome. Then remind yourself that it is actually is possible… even for you. Once you begin to believe it is possible, gradually refine the details and continue to play them over and over in your head. Soon you will notice feelings of faith, self confidence and courage - also known as the “winning feeling.”
  6. You are free to accept or reject negative failure feelings. You can obey them and give them energy or ignore them and continue to move forward. 
  7. Accept negative feelings as a challenge. If we react to negative feelings aggressively and positively, they become challenges. These challenges then bring more power and ability within us. 
  8. Become the kind of person to rise to the challenge. It is not only possible, but entirely practical to react in an aggressive, positive manner to any negative advice or doubts, even if they are our own. 
  9. Substitute pleasant mental images every time you catch yourself caught up in worry. 
  10. Old recordings and patterns can be changed. The choice is up to you.
