Before we get into this week’s topic I promised in last week’s show I would let you know about my progress in preparing my website to be a tool for building an email list using the ideas covered in episodes 5 to 8. I wrote lead magnet on the topic of pricing strategy which I believe will be useful to any entrepreneur in thinking through their approach to pricing. So that is a start. I have also successfully signed up to ConvertKit as my email management program. But then I hit a problem. My website is not ideally set up to utilize the features of ConvertKit and to adopt the ideas I discussed in last week’s show. I will completely rebuild the site over the next week and share my experiences during next week’s show. As well as redesigning my site to be a tool for building an email list I will also focus on improving its search engine optimization with the aim of getting near the top of the Google rankings. That is going to be a challenge as I am competing with some heavy hitters such as Korn Ferry and Monster.com. Ways that may lead to success will be the topic for this week’s show.
