Show Objectives - The Why
Communication is one of those things that is learnt from a young age, parents waiting to hear that first word, sitting down at school to learn to read and write. We spend the first portion of life learning what words mean. When we enter the working world it’s rare that all that learning early on has taught us how to communicate in a really effective way with other adults.
Many of us going through lids avoiding conflict, confrontation and tough conversations. Ultimately we’re more focused on not rocking the boat than we are on having open honest and frank conversations.
Key Issues - Owner Perspective:
As business leaders, and leaders of your teams and life, it’s imperative that you’re continually looking to grow yourself, and connect with your team. It’s estimated that we avoid a conversation every 7 minutes (unreal!) which equates to approximately $104B in lost productivity every year.
