Introduction
​This week we are concluding the emphasis on reopening fast and hard from the forced pandemic shutdown. The shows will cover how to generate revenue either directly or building the supportive infrastructure necessary. Next month (July 2020) we are shifting to building the best organization possible - the Agile Company.

Today's show is about pulling it together. Our emphasis this week is on your website and using a content strategy to create traffic and close sales.  We are applying the information covered in Shows:

What You Need to Know
Website (eCommerce) Design
  1. ​​Avoid Clutter - simpler is better
  2. Simple Menus - use broader categories
  3. Add a Search Bar - allow the customer to apply their mindset
  4. User Friendly Checkout - don't frustrate and have them abandon the purchase
  5. Automated Abandonment Emails - if they leave before completing the purchase, inquire on why and see if you can complete the transaction now
  6. Encourage, Don't Require a Profile - people are tired of creating another account, you are collecting their information, create a profile for the next visit and automatically recognize them
  7. SEO Like Any Other Page - probably more important here than other part of your website
  8. Link to Blog Posts - expand on the features and benefits with statistics and testimonials
  9. Use it to List Build - every visitor is in the sales funnel, manage it

What You Need to Do
Value Ladder
  • Basic: get them in the door and using your offer, what will whet their appetites for your core offer - the basis of the CTA
  • Core: where you want to bulk of customer purchases, the right mix of products & services that your business is designed to to build and support;
  • Advanced: the all inclusive flagship offer, used to anchor your pricing.

Pricing
  • Strategic pricing based on market and value ladder

Writing Ad Copy
  • Understand the buying persona(s) you are writing for;
  • Focus on Features of the Offer and Benefits the Customer Receives - the enticement;
  • Tell a story, not recite facts;
  • Incorporate Keywords throughout the narrative to optimize for SEO - tracking what your audience (perfect and future customers) are using to search brands, companies, products/services like yours.;
  • Create scannable bullet points instead of extensive text, if using superlatives - prove it;
  • Use strong words to boost persuasiveness, not cliches or commonly used word salads;
  • Use as much mixed media/images as possible;
  • Include any testimonials that provide social proof of your offer.
