Introduction
Excited and engaged customers bring in 23 percent more profits so it goes without saying that it’s worth pursuing.  Engaging with our clients can manifest in many forms; through email marketing or having customers walk into your store. Engagement is also a measure of effectiveness in the world of social media. 
The purpose of today’s show is to recognise that securing a client isn’t the same as having an engaged client and today we’ll talk about the difference.

Show Objectives
- Know how to engage hearts, minds & pockets 
  • Generate repeat business and customers who recommend you. 

Key Issues
  1. People buy emotionally, justify rationally, 
  2. Customer service is not a random act of kindness - it is a driver for more sales 
  3. Surround with information messaging, not commercials or ads
  4. Keep your promotions between 20 & 25% of all messages
  5. The owners involvement matters - ultimately they are buying from you

What You Need to Do
  1. Do the three things a successful business does well when engaging the right audience.
1.     Know Your Target Audience
2.     Live Your Values
3.     Be consistent with your messaging. Only communicate what you can ACTUALLY deliver.
  1. Find effective images to use in your communications. Humans are VISUAL first, VERBAL second.
  2. Engage with testimonials and storytelling - speak to your clients and customers in a way that makes them want more. 
  3. Plan engagement strategy into your marketing plan.
