The Story of Chicken Little:
We have all heard the story of Chicken Little. Chicken Little ran around warning everyone that the sky was falling. Nobody believed him because we all know better. The sky won’t fall. But how are we handling our current business environment? Like the pandemic wasn't enough, now many cities are experiencing riots. It might feel like the sky is falling. But is the sky really falling or is that just our perception? Fear is defined as “an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. Fear is an emotional response to a real or imagined threat. Because it’s an emotion, the only person who can change the perception of a real or imagined threat is the person experiencing the emotion. Your goal as a leader is to help support your team, provide as much information as possible, and involve them in setting up a plan to return to a physical workspace. Dealing With Customer's Fears:
Your customers still want to do business with you. Identify, address and overcome their fear to make it easy for them to do that.
