Core Systems & Processes People System Recruiting & Selecting (R1) The first of two "people" or relationship processes, it focuses on the selection and development of relationships. The relationships include employees, suppliers, and investors (customers are handled in the two sales processes). The first component is about attracting and selecting the best and the second about developing the relationship so it is mutually beneficial to everyone involved. Attracting & Onboarding Process
Performance Management (R2) The second of the people or relationship processes. It is concerned with measuring and managing relationships. When focused on employees, it is the construction and operating a traditional performance process with the goal driving frequent conversations on performance, provide timely feedback, and ensure appropriate consequences (positive and negative) to results. It also includes compensation to ensure the organization is paying for the right behavior and/or outcomes. The same general process works when applied to suppliers and investors - all relationships must have a conscious and dedicated process to provide mutual benefit to all stakeholders.
