We are introducing a new format to our Show Notes and Broadcasts. We received feedback our podcasts are too long (average 26 minutes). The shows have been restructured into 13 minute segments - each with a specific objective. Segment 1: What the show will cover and why it is important. Segment 2: What do you need to know to take action. Segment 3: How do you apply it and the tools available, and Segment 4: Tips and Insights from our experience. What are Today's Topics & Why is it Important?​
The time for being totally annoyed and victimized by forces beyond your control are over. You are fighting for survival and an opportunity is on the horizon. A V Shaped Recovery is very possible - but it will only return 35% of lost revenue, what is your plan - no more seat of the pants flying. This is going to take all of your energy, focus, and daily habits to start the journey back.

Our focus on today's show - what is your plan for the next 4 months?

Knowledge to Take Action
My intention is the continue the principle of the Critical few or in this case the Critical 1. I am going to present to you a model for getting the business back on track by identifying the 1 thing you must do in each of 4 categories or 4 goals to develop a plan that will take you through the end of September. BTW - we are using it right now for the station.

  1. Review each column (CUSTOMERS, PRODUCTION, TALENT, FINANCE) and for each of the 4 areas of focus - choose the 1 Thing to improve it and take advantage of being allowed back in business.
  2. Rank order the 16 into a priority list from the most important to the least.
  3. Start at the top and make a list of activities required to get it done - and right now - shoot for good enough.
  4. Apply the 80/20 rule and select the top 3 (16 X 20% = 3.2) for action over the next 4 months.
 
​If your execution is that good and the 3 have been completed at "good enough" levels move on to #4. I have also linked each of these to previous shows to help you decide.
