Show Objectives
Business owners are in struggle. They are wishing for a better way to navigate through this phase of reopening and scaling their business. Everyone knows that they will go further faster with a coach but not everyone knows the value of hiring a professional coach. Today we are going to explore ways you can find your ideal client and educate them on your value to their organization so you can have coaching conversations with them and fill your coaching calendar. Win - win!

Time to Launch
There are two basic types of marketing, Push Marketing and Pull Marketing. Push marketing means you are trying to promote a specific product to an audience you find relevant. Pull marketing implies that you implement a strategy that will attract ideal clients towards your services. Pull marketing is generally considered to be the more effective approach. Potential clients are empowered to gather information on their own without having intrusive and aggressive sales pushed at them.

Where to Find Ideal Clients
The key to finding ideal clients is easy with a little research. Move past your fears and insecurities and show up as the leader you are. Coaches are leaders and it’s time to build your tribe. 
  1. Networking groups. Many networking groups have been holding meetings virtually and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Research networking groups that have your ideal client as members and schedule several of them on your calendar. Think big! The world is open to your services at the stroke of the keyboard. 
  2. Social Media. There are several social media options to find your ideal clients. Facebook groups, Linked In, and Meetup are just a few. Begin by offering value to attract or “pull” your ideal client to your and your message and then offer a complimentary clarity call. Episode F.020 Know Your Worth Beyond Dollar Signs
  3. Build your own following. An effective strategy is to create your own Meetup Group and offer free group coaching for business owners. The platform does the marketing for you. Sell tickets to your event using Eventbrite and publish the event on your social media platforms. 

Provide Your Services
  1. Individual Coaching. Many coaches dream of filling their calendar with private clients. The problem with that now is the financial position your ideal clients are facing. Get creative in overcoming the money barrier by offering payment plans and packages.
  2. Group Coaching. There is a huge value in offering group coaching to like-minded business owners. Building a group coaching program of 10-12 business owners is smart financially for your clients and adds benefits of masterminding for your clients. 
  3. Online Course. Some coaches create a course teaching coaching principles and make it an evergreen offering and upsell to new and existing clients. ​
