People who are wealthy and those who want to be wealthy have very different habits about money and wealth, not only they think differently but they behave very differently with their money and wealth. Most keep on wondering how they are so lucky, but they have created their own luck and so can you,
My observation after coaching hundreds in this area is that if you have not mastered your inner beliefs about money and wealth you will keep on struggling, trying to make more but still never satisfied.
So are you ready to expand your resources; to earn more, save more, contribute more, and even open yourself to a completely new set of opportunities; and live a fun-filled and fulfilled life?  Well, these are some of the characteristics of a wealthy lifestyle.
Today we will discuss 3 of these habits.
Desire - Strong Purpose - “Why”
Teachability
Persistence - Failing Forward

Desire - Strong Purpose - Why
George Bernard Shaw said
“Money is the most important thing in the world. It represents health, strength, honor, generosity and beauty as conspicuously and undeniably as the lack of it represents illness, weakness, disgrace and ugliness.”
Zig Ziglar said
“Money is not everything but it ranks right up there with oxygen”
I believe wealth is good; wealth has to be respected; it can fulfill dreams and help with so many causes.  
To get the wealth, you have to first get the wealth awareness and consciousness if you don’t already have it, and then understand all the aspects of wealth. 
See, you need to have a compelling reason why you need wealth. 
So now just the thought of having an abundance of wealth, well, what sort of feelings and ideas does that bring in you, what emotions do you feel. 
What can you do if you had all the wealth you desire right now?
Understand “Why” is more important than the “How” 
‣    Why do you need more wealth
‣    Why do you want to save wealth
‣    Why grow and protect your wealth?
So let’s identify your Why
To create your vision to reality the first step is the WHY. 
Why do you want to take your income to the next level?
Why do you want to make more money in your business? 
Why do you want to rise in your company…
See, all of us have different why’s .. and there are why’s that move us, propel us forward. 
Teachability
One of the principal traits of successful persons is teachability.
Why is teachability such an important trait? There are so many people I have known in life who have attained high degrees, have great schooling but are not teachable. When you ask them the answer is “I know it”, “I have studied it”…. However, they never take the step to learn what is new.
If you keep yourself teachable, then the law of attraction starts working in your favor. You will start to attract the right people, a right job, right contacts for business; it will keep you moving towards your freedom. Never say, I know it all. Keep an open mind and open spirit towards learning.

Persistence
To quote Calvin Coolidge, “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
One of the best examples of Persistence is given in “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. Hill states Persistence is The Sustained Effort Necessary to Induce Faith.
Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. You do not want to come to the end of your life and looking back you have regrets of not trying something which you wanted to do. Don’t die with the music inside you. If you have a goal or dream, be persistent and do all you can to achieve it. Believe me, God’s delays are not God’s denials.
Some of the major factors or symptoms of lack of persistence which I took from Think & Grow Rich are
1.    Not being clear in what you want.
2.    Indecision
3.    Weak desire
4.    Lack of good planning
5.    Fear of Criticism
6.    Feeling of Insignificance
7.    Lack in giving 100%
How do you develop persistence – These are four steps I found to be very valuable and took them from “Think and grow Rich”.
1.    A definite purpose backed by burning desire for its fulfillment
2.    A definite plan, expressed in continuous action
3.    A friendly alliance with one or more persons who will encourage one to follow through with both plan and purpose
4.    A mind closed tightly against all negative and discouraging influences
You don’t get in life what you want; you get in life what you are.
