Introduction

Objectives - The WHY
I don't want to dictate what we discuss in my community group, but certainly want to put some guard rails on it. We will discuss more that just the status of improvement projects you have underway, however I do want to make this one of the major topics.

Given we are all struggling in some way with the pandemic craziness, sustaining growth will be a real challenge when surviving might be enough for most business owners. We will cover how to evaluate your company's current FITness and how to build a trackable plan

  1. Where is my business today?
  2. Which issues/obstacles provide me the greatest leverage for improvement
  3. What is my plan to close the gaps between today and where I want to take the business?
  4. How do I measure and track to stay on course and schedule?

What You Need to Know - The WHAT​
Our Model for Fast and Sustainable Growth (FIT)
  • FOCUS: identifying all of the suspect problems and obstacles to growth to create a cause and effect chart. Based on this analysis, determining which issue, if removed or lessened, will provide the greatest positive impact?
  • IMPROVE: analyze the gap between where you need to be and where you are, building an improvement plan to close the gap in a timebound period.
  • TRACK: ensure you can track the performance of your improvement initiatives and how well you are closing then overall gap between today and the fuure.
