TEENA OGBUGOH - BUSINESS PROCESSES & PEOPLE TALK WITH TEENA

IBGR.Network - PROFIT Radio. Everything a business owner needs to start, grow or exit a business. COME GROW WITH US.

Introduction

Candor is defined as the state of being frank, open and sincere both in speech and in action. In business, this may seem impossible and rare giving the fact that many people don’t express themselves with frankness. Jack Welch, popular for his time of leadership and transformation of General Electric, once asserted that, “lack of candor in the business world blocks smart ideas, fast action, and good people contributing all the good stuff they have got.”

Increased transparency or the move toward establishing a culture of candor is an important first step for leader and business owners in making the shift on how information flows freely within and outward from an organization. Companies can't innovate, respond to changing needs, or function efficiently unless people have access to relevant, timely, and valid information within the organization.
