Introduction
In business there are many moving parts and in order to thrive and grow we need to continue to provide clarity, communication and confidence. To achieve this you need to keep your finger on the pulse ensuring you stay on track and that the organisational business goals are clear and frequently communicated throughout the organisation.

Using and analysing your data will provide you with information and confidence to build that next layer of your business and help you plan for the next part whilst providing leadership that builds  trust in your business. To be ready, set and grow you also need to be clear on how well prepared your business is for change.

Show Objectives - The Why

The objective for today’s episode is to explore some of the common issues business owners face and provide you with insights on what you need to look out for when building your people game plan. Your focus is on allowing your people to do what you have hired them for and your role becomes more and more about  looking forward, building that game plan and ensuring you end up where you want to go.

I have collected some key areas that came up in a recent conversation that ties in with the last 11 eleven episodes where we continued to connect the dots. Your people are your biggest assets and happy employees = happy customers.



Key issues from an owners perspective
  1. Is your people game plan clear, including how to deal with a crisis
  2. Do your people own their roles? And how do you know?
  3. Is language causing issues in your business?  smart talk vs clear talk?
  4. The style of communication, how do we bring in lightheartedness


What You Need to Know - The What 
  1. Having people take ownership of their roles
  2. What is in the people game plan 
  3. Build the game plan in such a way that your people can understand it, is the language you are using creating confusion or clarity?
  4. Equip yourself and your people with tools to manage growth, change and crisis
  5. Provide lightheartedness in your communication, using reframes and state breaks


What you need to do  - The How
  1. Communicate the game plan with your team, take feedback and listen actively
  2. Coach your people in understanding the different forms of change, crisis and growth and how to communicate this
  3. Check in regularly from an organisational point of view if the communication is still aligned
