  4. I am your humble host, Bill Kelly, serial entrepreneur, Senior Business Broker for Transworld of Richmond, and a Commercial Real Estate Agent for our affiliate company Planet CRE.


  5. EPISODE 2 Riches to Rags to Riches - An American Dream Come True

  1. I started my business career in Cumberland, Maryland, at the age of 6, selling vegetables from the family garden door to door to make enough money to go to the public swimming pool. And 45 years later I built a team that developed a cloud-based software and hardware system to track millions of electrical rubber goods for utility companies around the world. In between, I started or bought and then sold, 10 other businesses. Only in America could this happen.


  2. Along the way, I’ve made good decisions and bad. I’ve made fortunes and suffered big losses. But I’ve been blessed with an insatiable desire to keep learning and the good fortune to work with some incredible, talented, people. My life has been anything but boring. In my opinion, business ownership requires a lifetime of learning and a dedication to serving others.
      
  3. Six years ago, I sold my last business and dedicated the remainder of my life to helping other business owners sell their business and assisting buyers in finding the right business to purchase.


  4. I was blessed to find the perfect vehicle for my passion, when I became a Business Broker with Transworld Business Advisors.
