People are the key to your business both from an internal and external point of view. Without people you don’t have a business and as much as it is for you in this partnership about working with the right clients, internally it is critical about finding the right team. It is time to do less of the push ups and get the right people in your business. 

We are not talking about just putting bums on seats but instead you want to find the right talent. In today's episodes I am sharing with you 3 strategies that will help you attract the right talent, the do’s and don'ts.

People are the key to your business both from an internal and external point of view. Without people you don’t have a business and as much as it is for you as the business owner working with the right clients, internally it is all about finding the right people that fit in your business. We are not talking about just putting bums on seats but instead you want to find the right talent for your business. 
 
The world has changed, people have changed, different values and views on the future of work. The thing here is many are struggling to find the right talent already and if you don’t have a solid strategy it makes life quite difficult. In these 4 series episodes I will reveal 4 strategies on what you need to build a winning team.

E18 The #1 trap in recruitment, how to avoid this in your Business Partnership

In episode 17 we touched on some elements of the recruitment strategy, what you need to get you started. 

In this episode we explore the #1 trap in recruitment and how to avoid falling victim to this. 

It is easy when you are finding yourself already in a tight market to unconsciously cut corners when interviewing people. So when you find yourself across the table from “the one” be certain you have done your due diligence. 

  1. Prepare for the interview, set the intention and the scene from the start
  2. During the interview, besides getting great answers, what else do you need to look out for?
  3. Be careful of finding another you, if you have done step 1 well you would have defined the person you are looking for, this is where the “love trap” can. Use an assessment tool to avoid your biases taking over
  4. Be sure to reach an agreement in your partnership
