Show Objectives - The Why After the first show which we all used to give you an overview of our season 4 episodes and what we would be talking into, I kicked off with an intriguing subject in episode 2: Your story, your voice, your time – and the importance of your entrepreneurial story. We all have a story, but are you using that story to accentuate or enhance your business by talking about your journey into entrepreneurship or is it just business, business, business? People love to hear about YOU, your successes and especially your failures as that makes you human and more relatable. For that to happen it becomes essential that you start writing ‘the best story ever told’ (yours), and start creating an effective flow to deliver that at meetings, your videos, and all social media. You need to bear in mind that the best brands are built on the best stories. That's why storytelling is the best way to strengthen your brand. Be different, stand out, tell your story! Then we went on to Episode 3: Grow up to go up. I talked into the need for Personal Growth, not just as an entrepreneur or business owner to reach your God Given Potential, but also in your daily life, your leadership and, generally, the way you interact and build relationships. If you have not started your personal growth plan yet, I hope I provided you with some ideas and points to start that necessary journey as soon as possible. “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the next best time is NOW” In episode 4, I talked about the importance of knowing your WHY in life and business as that really is your GPS to success. “It’s not the years in your life that matter but the life in your years that are important” Most people will die without ever having really lived; By finding your WHY, your passion, your purpose, your life will take on a different meaning and importance. It will also help you stay focused on what is important in your business and give you that extra energy you need to keep going, especially when times are tough. In episode 5 I talked into Persistence and why it is not just a ‘nice to have’ and how Failure is part of the process. Will you learn from it, keep growing, and keep moving forward? Persistence is what you need when every person and everything tells you to quit…never give up. Say to yourself: “I will until…” Persistence is key to your long-term success! In episode 6, I got into: Getting to know yourself is a serious business - What defines you? …. Know yourself, know your future. How important it is when you are dealing with others to understand them and to connect with them in a way so you can build long term relationships. “You can’t give what you haven’t got”, so getting to really know yourself, your communication style, your leadership style, your personality, will be an enormous asset in your life and business. In episode 7 I talked about Habits and the simple kind of habits entrepreneurs should acquire…if they do not have them already, to become more successful. Awareness in key as you can not change what you do not know about. However, once you become aware of those habits that stand in the way of your success, you have a choice to make….will you change them for the real benefit that will surely bring, or will you carry on as ‘normal’, hoping that it will be ok in the end….it all comes down to the choices you make! In Episode 8 I talked about Mindpower – intriguing, exciting, powerful…yet often neglected as an important tool in our toolbelt for success….a costly mistake we must rectify sooner rather than later. THIS is a subject I could talk about for ‘a while’ longer than an hour. Not just because it is so fascinating but also because the mind is powerful beyond measure and we really need to learn to tap into this unlimited potential we all have within us. Embrace your power and do not just live a life you have, but one you deserve. In episode 9 I spoke about the choices and decisions we make and how we, as entrepreneurs, must make a decision to put self-care higher up our ‘to-do’ lists. We might have amazing plans, goals, and visions but if we continue to neglect our health and wellbeing, none of that matters. Self-care is not about being selfish, it is about ensuring we are around long enough for our loved ones to spend some quality time and celebrate our successes with us. Episode 10 - Here I talked into the Intentional Leader and how they Influence for Impact; The 3 ‘I’s to becoming a great leader in your business. Being intentional about the way you influence others will bring you positive impact in your life and business. As I always remind people of: “Remember, nothing good happens by chance, great things happen by choice!” In episode 11, I talked about how Values includes valuing your people - The role values play in any organization is dependent on how valued people feel. This always has to start with the leader. When you as an entrepreneur, as a business owner, value the people who work with you and for you, and show them you do, you will not be surprised at the value they provide to you and the organization. Episode 12 was all about lifting the lid on your potential. Human Potential is everywhere, all the time. We all have so much more potential than most of us can ever dream of, yet we act as if we are constantly limited. We constantly keep a lid on our options, our possibilities, and our God given potential. In this episode, I talked into ways in which we can blow that lead clean off, so we can start to live the live we all desire, and richly deserve. As you can see from all the topics above, everyone has to do with people, and everyone has to do with skills we can learn, and must learn, if we ever want to become successful as an entrepreneur and as a person. Neither of them are exclusive! Become more intentional in all you do, get to really know yourself, start a personal development plan, look after health and wellbeing, and gain those soft skills necessary to take you to the next level and beyond. You deserve it! What You Need to Know - The What I put this reminder in my notes every week as it is THE key to your success: Every show you have received some key points to learn from, but more importantly, to implement as we all know knowledge in not power but knowledge acted upon is……and if you REALLY want to benefit from the implementation, then, every single day, reflect on all you have implemented, from those key points provided. What You Need to Do - The How Implementation is key! Every day, ask yourself some simple but powerful questions:
Then take those experiences into tomorrow so you will, for sure, grow in life and business. Remember: Change does not happen just by chance, it happens by choice. Choose wisely! My Shows
