Sarita Johan - "Build Your Core" IBGR.Network - PROFIT Radio. Everything a business owner needs to start, grow or exit a business. Grow With Us. Introduction As your business is growing and you have people joining your business it is important to have tools that allow you to keep track on how your people are performing. In this modern world we measure lots of things, from sleep, to movement to diet etc. In your business you must be able to track whether your people are performing or underperforming. Individual dashboards are visual aids that allow you to know whether you are moving in the right direction, they tell a story. Before we develop the individual dashboards, we need well developed metrics and KPI’s. KPI’s need to be linked to your business goals. Show Objectives The objective for this week is to discuss the benefits of tracking your people’s performance by having individual dashboards, the power is in the knowing, not the guessing. Before we do so we need to understand what we need to create meaningful KPI’s. You want to make sure that what you are tracking is meaningful and is linked to the business objectives and goals. The individual dashboards help you tell the story of how your employees are progressing, they can provide performance improvement opportunities and increased employee engagement. Furthermore, data can be used when conducting performance reviews. In the last 7 shows we covered the importance of core values, standard operating procedures, position descriptions, setting expectations and how all of this leads to clarity for you and your team allowing you and your business to achieve your business goals. The key to successful individual excellence lies in the combination of both skills and mindset. Adding people to your team is important and it is your responsibility to set people up for success.
