Londina Cruz & Donna Kunde - “Building Success Habits”

PROFIT RADIO..."Grow With Us"

Introduction
“We often want it so badly that we ruin it before it begins. Over-thinking. Fantasizing. Imagining. Expecting. Worrying. Doubting. Just let it naturally evolve.”  – Anonymous

In the book The Law of Success, Napoleon Hill says, “The imaginative faculty of the human mind is a marvelous piece of machinery, but it may, and usually does, play queer tricks on us unless we keep constantly on guard and control it. If you allow your imagination to ‘expect the worst’ it will play havoc with you.”

Objectives - The WHY
There is a process to follow in order to think ACCURATELY. First we have to have a desire or chief aim to measure all other thoughts against. Then we need to sort our thoughts. Accurate thinking is the fastest way to the results we want in life and business.

Key Issues - Owner Perspective:
  1. Most people don’t there is a thing called Accurate Thinking
  2. The time it takes to sort our thoughts is time well spent
  3. This is something that is simple but not easy to do

What You Need to Know - The WHAT

To learn how to think ACCURATELY we must thoroughly understand:

  1. The mind can be controlled, guided and directed to creative, constructive ends.
  2. The mind can be directed to destructive ends
  3. The mind has power over every cell of the body and can be made to cause every cell to do its intended work perfectly, or it may, through neglect or wrong direction, destroy the normal functionary purposes of any or all cells.
  4. All achievement of man is the result of thought. The part that the physical body plays is of secondary importance and in many instances of no importance other than a place to house the mind.
  5. The greatest of all achievements are usually the results of ideas conceived in one man’s mind but actually transformed into reality by other men through the combined use of their minds and bodies.
  6. The majority of all thoughts conceived in the minds of men are not ACCURATE but are instead more in the nature of opinions or snap-judgments.

What You Need to Do - The HOW
Accurate thought involves two fundamentals:
  1. To think accurately you must first separate facts from mere information
  2. You must separate facts into two classes; Important and Unimportant or Urgent and Not Urgent
  3. All facts you can use to obtain your definite chief aim are important and urgent; all that you cannot use are unimportant or not urgent.
  4. Learn how to sort fact from mere information
  5. Then sort into appropriate quadrant
  6. How to recognize Accurate vs. Inaccurate Thinking
    1. Over-thinking
    2. Fantasizing
    3. Imagining
    4. Expecting
    5. Worrying
    6. Doubting
    7. ALLOWING
  7. Listen to the Building Success Habits Series
  8. Download the IBGR Business Growth App
  9. Challenge beliefs that no longer serve you. Quote: Eric Hoffer - “No matter what our achievements might be, we think well of ourselves only in rare moments. We need other people to bear witness against our inner judge, who keeps a book on our shortcomings and transgressions. We need other people to convince us that we are not as bad as we think we are.”
