Core processes are important to the success of any business. They make up the “value chain” of the organization as they contain the activities that add value to your product and services which your customers are willing to pay for. The standard operating procedures (SOPs) are written procedures that give details on how business activities in the organization are done and explain the processes being described.
Core processes and SOPs review are needed to help an organization build and harmonize processes for business continuity. While there are recommendations that they should be done every two (2) years, these reviews should be carried out as deemed necessary by the organization to foster growth and avoid redundancy.
Show Objectives – The Why
The focus of the show is to help business owners make improvements on existing core processes and SOPs for more efficient and effective delivery by employees. It would also help employee engagement and accountability for performance management as standardization of processes and procedures reduces knowledge loss amongst employees during business expansion stages.
