This week we are exploring how to turn a wish into a business. Wishing is a great start. It means you have acknowledged and received the idea. Now what do you need to do to build the burning desire necessary to turn an idea into a business that Hill talks about in Think and Grow Rich? It’s time to burn your bridges and leave yourself no possible way of retreat. Let’s explore Chapter II in the book Think and Grow Rich….Desire.

Objectives - The WHY
When you are gifted with an idea it is YOURS to either ignore and do nothing with it or accept the gift and grow it into all that is possible. Too often my clients come to me searching for the perfect idea to take their business to the next level yet when they become aware of a new idea, they question it and talk themselves out of it. Every idea will work as long as we turn it from a wish into a burning desire. 

Key Issues - Owner Perspective:

1. Talking themselves out of the next big idea

3. Never leaving the wishing stage
   

What You Need to Know - The WHAT

• Desire definition: strongly wish for or want (something).
  

• Ideation refers to the process of developing and conveying prescriptive ideas to others, typically in a business setting. It describes the sequence of thoughts—from the original concept to implementation.
  
• De-sire is from the Latin “to give birth to” Desire is the effort of an idea, an unexpressed possibility within you, seeking to be birthed into the world as your new business idea.
  
• Can you imagine yourself having your desired outcome?
  

What You Need to Do​​ - The HOW

1. Fix your mind on the exact outcome you want
   
2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the outcome you desire
   
3. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess your desired outcome
   
4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put your plan into action. 
   
5. Write out a clear, concise statement of the desired outcome, name the time limit for its attainment, state what you intend to give in return and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accomplish it.
   
6. Read your statement aloud, twice daily, once just before bed and once in the morning. As you read it, SEE and FEEL and BELIEVE yourself already in possession of your desired outcome.
