S12 E33 From Amateur to Pro: Must-Have Tools for a Professional Online TV Talk Show |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Declan Oceguera

2. Become a person worth watching by knowing which tools to use and when to use them in order to position yourself (visually) as the professional you are.
3. While we have been saying all along that your physical appearance does not matter, and that is true, your production quality absolutely matters! At a minimum you will need the following: Computer/Laptop (using your phone is not recommended), Camera (built-in webcam or external webcam), Reliable High-speed WiFi, Ethernet Cable for best internet connection, Podcasting-quality mic, Ring Light or Equivalent Light Source, Multistreaming Platform, Graphics Design Service, Your Streaming Destinations (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitch). NOTE: You could do an “in-studio” TV Talk show that would have different TV set requirements.  
4. Inventory your equipment (pay close attention to quality here), then determine a budget and begin adding or upgrading your equipment now so you are ready to launch your best self forward!

2. Become a person worth watching over and over again because you are using the power of streaming video to reach audiences on multiple platforms.
3. You can livestream from a specific platform (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, Instagram, etc) and you can livestream from other platforms (Zoom, Streamyard, etc) into specific platforms, and you can record videos and use livestream platforms to schedule “live” videos. You can also multi-stream on several platforms at once using platforms like Zoom, Streamyard, Restream, Riverside.fm and others. When you multi-stream you are organically reaching new audience members on different platforms.
4. Decide which platform you want to use to livestream your TV Talk Show. Do you want to go live on one social media platform or many? We recommend using one of the multi-streaming platforms like Streamyard to increase your reach on the social media sites that you have profiles on. Decide which of your profiles, pages or groups you manage that you want to stream your TV Talk Show to.

S12 E35 Lighting & Audio 101: Creating a Captivating TV Talk Show Experience |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Declan Oceguera

1. "Good lighting and audio are the silent storytellers that enhance the narrative." - Unknown 
2. Become a person worth watching by literally becoming seen and heard!
3. Anyone can produce videos these days with a smartphone (and you should too! For the short form marketing videos discussed earlier). But this is not how to produce a high quality TV Talk Show. Let’s start with lighting. There are three points of light you need to be aware of: Front Facing Light, Side Light and Background Light. The light source can come from the following sources (light ring, lamp or natural light). There is a light strategy to use outdoors as well. Now audio, there is a good, better, best method to follow. A good microphone to use in a pinch is your computer audio, better audio is a set of phone earbuds and best audio is achieved using an external microphone. You can have the best lighting and sound quality on your end, but if your guest shows up without these strategies they are not set up for success. 
4. Set up your TV Talk Show studio to include your three points of light and your audio source. Take into consideration the time of day you will be producing your show.

S12 E36 Center Stage: Achieving Perfect Alignment in Camera Framing |IBGR | Donna Kunde & Declan Oceguera

2. Become a person worth watching but removing the unconscious distraction caused by poor camera framing.
3. The primary framing of aesthetics is your physical body being centered in camera view and head space (two finger rule). Camera height and angle are also important. 
4. First thing is to get the camera height and angle correct (make sure you are not looking down at your audience)! Then center yourself in the frame and apply the two finger rule.
