Show Objectives:
This week we will focus on First Impressions. So many times we call a business or meet a business owner and we feel like we are imposing on them for wanting to use their product or service. This happens when people get too comfortable in their business or when they get more work than they can handle. Let’s shift our minds and take on the idea that every encounter is a first impression. Once we put that kind of effort with every potential client we can see our sales go up and referrals pour in!

  3. When people don’t realize their actions matter
  4. How you can improve on your first impressions

What You Need to Know:
Why:
They say you can only make one first impression. As that may be true, what if we treat every meeting as a first impression. 

Where first impressions matter:
  1. Answering your phone
  2. Email
  3. Text Message
  4. Face to face meetings
  5. Virtual meetings
  6. Cold Calling

Who complains when their first impression fails:
  1. Servers
  2. Receiving tips or gratuity 
  3. Sales Professionals 
  4. Business Partnerships that never happen
  5. The public having no interest in your product or service
  6. Not receiving referrals, but everyone else in your industry does

How to improve your first impression:
  1. Dress Well
  2. Get Current 
  3. Learn Etiquette
  4. Master the Language
  5. Read More
  6. Take a Genuine Interest in Others
  7. Make Your Online Presence Respectable

What you need to do:
  1. Take a look at yourself and how your first impression comes off
  2. Try to improve yourself in one area at a time
  3. Focus on the new opportunity, not the 100 other things going on
