Introduction
Every business needs a marketing plan. It doesn't matter if we are one person or a major corporation with 1,000+ employees in multiple locations. 

Marketing is what drives sales; without sales, we don't make the money to stay in business long-term. Without sales, we don’t have a business.

Many business leaders don't devote enough time and resources to developing a well-considered robust marketing plan but great leaders take the time to regularly develop marketing strategies and plan to build a company with a purpose.  

In this show we’ll cover the essential elements in a Marketing Plan and why it’s important - we’ll even talk about what happens when there is no plan!

It’s the roadmap that helps everyone in your business understand where you’re going, why and how and being organized can save a lot of time and money.

We spend some time in this show discussing whether cutting your marketing budget is the wise thing to do in a time of economic downturn - it’s timely in the pandemic when you’re possibly tightening your business belt. Tune in, our opinion might surprise you!

 
Essential Elements for your plan.
Think of your marketing strategy as a three step process.
  1. RESEARCH: Know who you serve and what they want, know your competition. (WHAT)
  2. PLATFORMS & CHANNELS: How will you reach clients (WHERE)
  3. CONTENT: Create your campaign, and a calendar. (WHEN)

Your action steps.
  1. Take the ideas from the show and apply it to your business.
  2. Write a checklist for yourself of resources you want to refer back to and research.
  3. Know your SWOT analysis
  4. Start an ideas bank - your thoughts, concepts, campaigns.
